Why Affiliate with
Social Work prn?

COSA Protective Services is very pleased with the services provided by Social Work p.r.n.-Philadelphia.  Rob and Joann are a pleasure to work with.  They do a great job of pre-screening which has resulted in us receiving staff who are appropriate, qualified, experienced, and ready to do the job.  The staff show initiative and have been strong assets to the unit.  We have had lots of success in that some of our temps have turned into permanent employees.

Rob Plotkin, MSW, LSW

Philadelphia Franchise Owner
Rob Plotkin, MSW, LSW is the franchise owner of Social Work p.r.n. - Philadelphia.  Rob was awarded the first franchise system in 1997. Rob received his MSW from Temple University's School of Social Work Administration and his MBA from Drexel University's Executive MBA program.  Rob believes that owning a social work business fits wonderfully for him.  "I've discovered that that I'm using more of my clinical skills now," he states, "than when I was in quote" direct practice."  Part of Rob's intrigue in owning a franchise system, was to meld his entrepreneurial spirit with his professional social work values,  "Those values provide the structure" he notes, "and without the structure, business decisions could be made that are incompatible with what I see would be a good corporate citizen."  Rob cites that Social Work p.r.n. has a reputation in Philadelphia, as an agency that can be counted on to provide quality professional social work services.

The Social Work Registry provides a repository for social workers' credential information while serving as a verification source for social work licensing boards.  This is a great resource for social workers who want to become licensed in various jurisdictions.  The Registry lets you establish a permanent file containing primary source records important to your social work career.  At your request, this information can be transmitted to any regulatory board to which you may apply for licensure.  For more information go to: www.aswb.org/registry.shtml.

Office of Ethics and Professional Review(OEPR)
Ethics Consultation
As a service to members, the OEPR provides ethics consultations for current NASW members. Ethic consultations are a resource for members who are experiencing an ethical dilemma. We do not provide advice or tell members what to do. However, we do guide them through the Code and point them to the areas of the Code that address their concerns. We provide dialogue and considerations that allow members to make ethical decisions. We may also refer members to the appropriate areas if their questions do not appear to be related to ethics but are more related to legal issues or standards of practice.
